Quick rule note
Wait for displacement, reclaim the imbalance, then execute on the first clean continuation candle.
Use this when price breaks structure with intent, leaves imbalance behind, then reclaims that area without stalling.
- Context comes first: only take it with a clear HTF push.
- Entry must happen after reclaim, not inside the initial impulse.
- Scale only after two clean follow-through candles.
- HTF structure already shifted.
- Imbalance remains visible after the break.
- Reclaim holds for one full candle close.
- Entry candle does not close back into the opposite side of the range.
Invalidation
- Price closes back through the reclaimed area.
- Re-entry happens during dead-session conditions.
- Continuation candle cannot hold the trigger low.
Common mistakes
- Chasing the impulse before reclaim confirms.
- Confusing a shallow pause with a full reclaim.
- Taking continuation after the move is already extended.
